My Statement
Helen Cho (born. Feb. 17, 2000, Republic of Korea) takes a fashion design as her major. She creates artworks focusing on accessories and jewelry All the goods are handmade. Her focus is on creating her own fashion. She is not a person who follows fashion trends. This is because she doesn't want to emulate anyone's work, she produces her own design.
When customers commission her for a design, she produces jewelry that satisfies her customers as much as possible.
From anti-allergic products to products only for beauty, she produces a variety of products. Beads, pendants, or homemade plastic or resin parts are served as the main products.
She finds the design she wants in Dongdaemun or other jewelry parts manufacturing shops in Korea. There are many things that she has assembled one by one. Already small parts are not made by her, but produced, but if she puts them together, it will be her own work, which she is satisfied with and is being done with satisfaction. The concept is not specific. However, making it the way she wants it becomes a concept for her.
She gets a lot of inspiration from museums and art galleries such as National Palace Museum of Korea, National Museum of Korea, Museum of Korean Embroidery, and Museum Of Contemporary Art, Chicago. Loving Korean beauty, she will later produce products with native designs.
Handcrafted, artistic creations.
